1. Registration-Contestants must be pre-registered by July 2nd, by emailing the superintendent.

2. Contestants must be between the ages of 17 and 22 as of September 1, 2024.

3. Contestants must be residents of Lewis County.

4. Contestants will be judged in the following categories: one on one interview with judges, public speech or talent performance, evening gown and on-stage question.

5. Judges will conduct a one-on-one interview with each contestant on July 8th. Time will be determined closer to date dependent on schedules of judges and contestants.

6. Contestant’s speech or talent must be within a 2–5-minute timeframe.

7. Each contestant must have an escort for the evening gown competition.  Contestant’s evening gowns should be something that would be suitable for a school dance.  Contestant’s will be judged on overall first impression, poise, and grace as well as on-stage question.

8. The Queen will be strongly encouraged to attend the Missouri State Fair contest in August (Sedalia, MO). Entry fee to state fair contest included and $100 reimbursement for attending will be disbursed following the participation.

9. Winners will be asked to participate in various events during the fair and throughout the year

   1. ​Prize package to Queen includes: $300 prize, Photo Package, Crown, Sash and $100 reimbursement for attending Missouri State Fair.

   2. Cash prizes awarded to 1st and 2nd runner up.  

   3. Flowers for Queen and her court.

   4. Queen’s entry fee to Missouri State Fair contest paid in full.
